We are well on our way to a fantastic Children's Day 2010.
All of the key perfomers and exhibitors from last year have asked to come back, and in addition we will be adding a couple of surprises that the kids are going to love.
On thing we are working on very hard is to increase the number of Resource Fair booths. In the end, it is the Resource Fair, and how many kids avail themselves of the opportunities presented in the Resource Fair, that determines the success of Children's Day. It isn't how many kids were entertained or had a good time. It is how many kids got turned on to an activity that excites them.
And one more thing: our Resource Fair is like no other because we insist that any program or activity exhibited is "about kids and for kids." It has to be positive. It has to emphasize participation.
From the moment the kids walk in on a red carpet , as they make their way through the Resource Fair, while they play in the Carnival or climb on trucks and rocks, as they sing and dance with the Disney performers or interact with Nancy Cartwright and her cartoon voice-over friends, there is one theme that runs through everything: for kids, about kids.
We hope we see you on this special day celebrating special people.
